You should not have to grease The TE-7. It is permantly lubricated. You can occasionally put a small ball of grease on the end of a drill bit before you stick in the chuck. This will keep the chuck greased.

Brand new te-7c and hammer action is not working Please help

are you using the right SDS bits? second there is a selector on the side for heavy hammer, light hammer and drill only, make sure that you have the selector in the proper position and then you would need to apply slight pressure to the bit for the hammering action to start, if youhave done all these I would take it back for warranty replacement or repair. Hilti is very good about warrantys.

The 7C does have a chipping feature on it. If it is vibrating without rotating check the selectory knob.

Te70 hilti hammer drill

The TE-70 is permantly lubricated. You would only add lubricant if you took the tool apart. You can add a small amount of grease to the end of your bit occasionally before putting in the chuck. This keeps the chuck parts lubed.
