Epson cx11n major printing problems

Hi,

My output has major striations of all colors running the legth of the paper, about 3 in. wide in the middle of paper. Just started after I replaced several toner cartridges. I have cleaned the print lense, pulled and replaced the pcu (at end of its life), and uninstalled and reinstalled the toners. When the pcu (photo conductor unit) was out I noticed discoloration about where the striations occur. I was wondering if replacing the pcu should fix this. I also noticed my toner levels are dropping very fast. Ones I replaced last week are showing 1/4 full now.

Also someone mentioned to empty the waste toner. How do you do this on this machine. Nothing in manual about that.

TIA

Every picture I print has striations through them. My pictures all look like they have been printed on corduroy paper. I am using an HP deskjet 940c. Any ideas?

Hi

The printhead of your color cartridge is clogged
or is near to end
you need to replace the color cartridge or refill it (cheaper method)

Epson Aculaser CX11N /11NF. Paper jam error will...

this could be due to the sensor at behind of the printer.. you should be able to see it once you open cover E.. it's very delicate plastic and normally when you clear the paper , you might accidently damage it.. you will need to open the read feed assy to fix it.. 4 screws and you should be able to remove it.. but first remove the E cover but slightly forcing the lower left hidge.. use a test pen...

Hi

Try taking out all toners and reinstall them. Turn on unit, without Photoconductor, wait till you get error install photoconductor. Insert photoconductor and try printing again.

No ink output from Epson Stylus Color 777

I don't have an answer for you but I have the exact same problem.

I have an Epson Stylus Color 777 and I put in new cartridges (black and color) that I bought yesterday (03/05/10).

I pulled the tape off the cartridges and inserted them in their carriages. Everything works like usual except that no ink at all prints on the page. Comes out completely blank.

Light print on right side of page

from what you are saying, if color is fine and black is not, its most likely the black drum that is the problem. the toner is part of it. try taking the black toner out and shaking it, and putting it back in, if it still does not help, most likely it is the toner/drum.

thanks adi

Epson Stylus CX5000 blurry or smudged printing

epson uses pigmented ink and compatibles use dyes and thus if the paper is not of good quality then you can have this problem.

do the following

change the paper and try.

As there will be ink in the head and the ink feed tubes , print some 10 -15 copies of all color prints so that the original ink starts to get into the head and then the paper.

this should solve your problem

Also use your printer every 2 -3 days if you dont have any prints then give a noozle check and then switch off the printer. This will avoid the printer from doing a head clean very time you switch on the printer and also the ink will give you more output as there is less amount of head cleaning

bye
