I have a gogear 4gb sa60xx or something like that. i was deleting music from it with my computer and i deleted the system foldeer. i do not have the disk to reinstall because i bought it off my friend. i was wondering how to fix this or a driver for it to work again. it saya device/database error? i need to get it fixed. can you please tel me where to fix it. Thanks

Try resetting the MP3 player: locate the little reset hole (it is quite small) and give it a poke with something blunt like a unraveled paper clip.

There are several ways to delete music files from your GoGear Vibe, depending on which model you have (model numbers typically begin with "SA" and are located on the unit), and whether you want to delete off of the player or off of your PC. Either way, you can delete specific music files by following the below directions.

Delete directly from the player:

REMINDER: This method is only for player with OPTIONS / button only.

1. Highlight the file or folder you want to delete.
2. Press OPTIONS / button your player.
3. Select DELETE.
4. Repeat Step 1-3 when you want to delete more than one file or folder.

Delete from your PC:

1. Connect your player to your PC. You player will load automatically just like the picture shown in step 2.
2. Select Open device to view file.


(If it does not load automatically, you can double click "My Computer" and then double click the icon of your player.)


3. Select the files you want to delete.

HINT: You can press and hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard to select more than one file.
4. Right click the highlighted files and select Delete.
5. Select Yes to confirm.

The only way really to delete files is to go into your laptop and click "open folder to view files" then you right click on whatever link you want gone.

Plug your mp3 player to your computer. Open up music or foto list on the computer. You can delete both pictures and music from the list that appears on your computer when you have the player connected.

I have a philips GoGear SA6045/37 and I delete my videos by first opening My Computer then going to Philips Gogear SA60XX then Internal Storage then I click on the Video folder and I delete the videos I need to delete (only videos are contained in this folder on my player so if yours is the same you should be safe).

My Philips SA60XX had a problem with the left side of the head phones, i tried every head sets or speakers and only one side works, what can i do about it??!?!?? I dont want to go to some store and get it fixed for 100 Dollars!

Have you tried to delete them in the philips hard drive. Go my computer - Philpis gogear - music . and i think your songs are there in the folders. just delete them from there. and if you want to delete all of your songs then in the settings should be something like format on erase or something like this. My gogear is bricked so i cant actually look.

Use Windows Media Player to delete the songs. Connect your GoGear to the computer. Open Windows Media Player. Find the icon of the GoGear on the left-hand side. Click on the songs folder. Highlight the song you want to delete and press "delete" on your computer's keyboard. Then go to the videos folder and do the same.

If you want to delete all of the songs and start over, reformat the player in Windows Media Player.

go under my computer then click on removable disks then click on a folder under one of them folders (say ur under pictures) right click on a photo and go to delete u do that all the folders to delete something good luck
