My camera is stuck in setup mode. I have tried to reset using reset button, removed aa batteries overnight, and still stuck in setup. My apple computer still recognizes the camera using usb, but cannot get it to regular modes (the round selector on top does not seem to work when changing settings)

The "Advance Button" on my Nikon D90 camera seems to be stuck on H mode. Iwant to use the remote but I cannot exit the high burst mode

This is only a guess, but sometimes, if you remove the batteries and wait for a period of time, the internal circuits reset themselves. if you try this overnight it may possibly help. Can't hurt, anyway.

Finepix s602s

How to turn on a Finepix s602s camera:
  • Hold the camera with the back of the camera toward you.
  • Find the shutter button on the top of the camera on the right side.
  • You want to rotate the ring around the shutter button using the little lever just in front of the shutter button. The first setting will put the camera in video capture mode, and the next setting will put it in photo capture mode.
  • If the camera won't turn on, try new batteries. It uses regular AA or rechargeable AA batteries.

I hope that helps you!

Button battery ex-fh20

I don't believe there is one. I think that like many other cameras, the EX-FH20 has a small built-in rechargeable battery which is charged from the main batteries (the four AAs). If this is the case, that battery is not user-replaceable.

If your camera is losing the date and other settings when the main batteries are removed, try leaving the main batteries in overnight first.

I get no power when using fresh AA batteries or charged (Ni-MH batteries). Camera works fine when using AC power adapter.

Hi,

Please make sure that you're using the LR6 AA sized batteries and also the terminals of the batteries are correctly inserted. Also make sure that the terminals of the battery compartment is clean without any obstacles or dirt. Also, try power reset and check if it helps.
Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
If the issue persists, try the factory resetting. SETUP MENU-->RESET ALL--> OK
This should resolve the issue.
Thanks for using FixYa.

When i try to turn on camera i get message pile faible and it turns off. What is that?

I believe that is a "low battery" error. You need to change the battery(ies). Check that your charger is working correctly as well if you are using the rechargeable batteries. (The camera takes 2 AAs, 2 rechargeable AAs (SNB-2312 or SBP-1303) or 1 CR-V3). If new batteries do not help, check the contacts in the battery compartment for corrosion or bent contacts. Often a pencil eraser used gently can remove the first problem. Gently unbend any bent contacts.

After you put in new batteries, you can change your language setup. Press Menu (when not in voice record mode), use the left/right arrows to choose Setup (Ajustage) (the icon reads SET with a crescent in the upper left). Use the up/down to select the third item in the list (Language/Langue) and press the right arrow. Use the up/down arrows to highlight English (Anglais) at the top of the list. Press the OK button. Press Menu twice to get the menu to disappear.

I hope this helps.

Batttery icon shows low battery even though new batteries are ins

I am not sure if this will address your problem but it is worth trying.

Make sure the record/playback mode switch is not in an intermediate position. Push it firmly all the way up. Also ensure that the mode button is not between clickstops. Then try to operate the camera

If that does not help, try the following. Take all the batteries out, including the lithium battery which keeps the clock going. Also take the SD memory card out. Leave the camera sit overnight.

Obtain new batteries - conventional alkaline AAs and a lithium type CR1220.

Next day, clean all the contacts for the AA batteries with a cotton-bud and contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol. Let dry. Then insert the new lithium battery. Next insert the new AAs and try to turn the camera on.

If it works, insert the SD card. If it does not work then there is probably an internal problem and it should be serviced.
