Waste ink tank full error 5b00

The canon pixma mp170 printer stopped printing and gave this error messege waste ink tank full> how can I solve this problem?

    Exactly the same as described with 5B00 shown as error

Affichage WASTE INK NEAR FULL, where is the waste ink ?
The waste ink tank is inside the printer. You cannot do anything about it except reset the ink level count.
