Can yuo give repair information or testing of the inverter so i can repair it , as part are not easy to comby here in perth australia
Repairing lcd inverter is like repairing a hv circuit used for strobe lights. try to check first all electrolytic capacitors, then loose board solder, also occularly check both ccfl bulbs for breakage and burnt marks.. best is if you can download schematic diagram for it so that you may check also all semiconductors on the board.
You may power on the unit in the dark room and directly shine the
flashlight to the LCD monitor. You will barely see an image or picture because
the fault is either the inverter
board or the lamp (backlight).
You may isolate the problem but it will require you some tools and test instruments.
Also, you must know some basic safety
precaution in electronics
troubleshooting.
Best way to find the faulty parts between the two you need to test
the output of the inverter board. You can do it
using the voltmeter or if does not available you may
substitute a two 12v car bulb
in series to the output of the inverter board. Powering on the unit and
look if the bulb will glow or not.
Yes, your lamp was busted. No, the inverter board fail.
You may look online for the replacement of defective parts. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=LT-26C31BJE&_sacat=0&_odkw=42RV600E&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
