The capacitors on the power supply need to be replaced. When you take apart the TV, and then remove the power supply (it's the section that the power cord goes to) and open it up. Look for the little can capacitors and see if any of them are bulging on top. That is the sign that they've blown. Replace the big ones (about 5) for about $5 in parts. Reassemble and test by turning it on. Search for YouTube video on how to replace capacitors.
Hello, The real problem is on your TV 'scircuit. Due to high electric power supply there might be a short circuit damage. It's better you call up your service technician and ask him to offer you a onsite support.
You can reset 2 ways Put tv into analog mode by pressing TV/DTV on remote then press Menu move down to the satellite pic press enter you will see plug & play in the list press enter and follow on screen instructions
The other way WARNING TV WILL NOT WORK IF YOU CHANGE ANY OTHER SETTINGS
With tv in STANDBY Press INFO / MENU / MUTE / STANDBY on remote the tv will come on with the factory settings displayed FACTORY RESET ( 12 ) will be in there USE DOWN KEY ONLY until Factory reset is Highlighted then press the RIGHT KEY the set will reset all settings PRESS POWER ON TV TO EXIT
Turn ON TV AND RETUNE
The Lg lcd was srtruck by a remote and now looks like a small crak on the inside towards the bottom right hand corner and there is no picture but audio does work
i had this with my samsung and my mums instead of pressing red power button press either switch from analog tv to digital button or just press a number
