Hold down the 1 & 9 buttons on the keyboard and
turn the machine on using the switch on the side of the machine
hold down the buttons till the screen goes black a white square appears now take you fingers off and let the machine run untill the screen is filled with the white boxes. turn of and on and hopefully that will fix it. the error is caused but the hard drive being currupted. if this does not fix it then the hard drive needs to be replaced by a canon service agent.
what you need to do is just resetting your machine.
1. Press * 28 * on your machine in a quick move.
2. Select copier
3. Select Err.
4. Select Clear then press O.K
5. Turn your machine off for 1 minute and turn it on again.
The error code will not be there anatmoreand your machine will be functioning well.
