Hi, welcome to FixYa. If the belt continually slips off you may want to try tightening the belt by way of loosening the bolt on the motor bracket usually gold or brass in color and pull the motor down slightly but firm and refasten the bolt. Either that or the belt itself has become too worn/stretched and just needs to be replaced. Also insure the drive pulley is tight and not "wabbling" in a manner that would throw the belt off. In extreme cases it can also be caused by excessive load size, improper detergent/too much detergent or unstable footing. Hope that helps. Thanks for choosing FixYa. Good luck going forward. macmarkus :)

Why does belt keep coming off when spinning?

Sadly, this is almost certainly drum bearings worn out and the drum spins off centre, causing the belt to come adrift (I'm guessing your spin cycle has become significantly noisier recently). Worse news I'm afraid, the IWC6125 uses a sealed, non serviceable drum, so this is really an uneconomical repair that will cost around 60%-75% of the cost of the machine when new

How to keep the washing machine belt on it keeps coming off

Something is out of line. Grab the drum and see if there is any up-down play in it. If there is then the drum bearing is gone and throwing the belt off. Also check the motor for movement, turning the power OFF first. Look carefully at the belt, is it damaged in such a way that it could be biased to one side. If the internal cords are damaged replace the belt.

The belt has come off when i refit it it comes off again is there a adjuster or something

Ther is no means af adjustment provided as the belt is self tensioning, if the belt keeps coming off, then it could be worn or the drum is running out of true due to bearing or main drum shaft wear.
With belt removed spin the drum by hand and listen for any noise from drum, it should be perfecly quite

My creda simplicity t622cw condenser dryer wont turn

Broken or belt has come off. If can open back and fix or replace. You may need to remove the top. Careful of the heat element, lift out drum and place new belt on motor holding it while you put the drum back keep hold of belt and place around drum replace top and should be ok. Hope this Helps

The dryer is plugged in and blows really hot but the drum does not turn- any idea where to start

The dryer has a belt that goes around the drum and is driven by a motor in the bottom of the mach. Open the back or lay it down on a bucket on the front and look for the belt to be off or broken.

The belt keeps coming off and does not sit straight on the wheel

If the belt keeps coming off, then it could be worn or stretched belt, loose drum pulley, a cracked spoke on the pulley, or the main drum bearings have failed, thus allowing the drum to run off center.
Hope this helps.

Whenever you install a new belt, it is also a good idea to replace the idler pulley.

Drive belt on hotpoint wm56 keeps coming off when machine goes on fast spin. I have fitted a new belt but it still keeps happening.

Make sure belt is reasonably tight, and it is in the center of the drum pulley, if it still comes off, then I would suspect that the drum bearings are worn, or the drum is running out of alighnment, or the motor bearings are worn, if it is noisy when you spin the drum by hand, then the bearings have definately failed.
Please rate my solution.

Belt keeps coming off the pulley

I suggest you check your drum bearings, belt will only come off if misaligned.
