I would appreciate getting advice as to how I can use the Insert feature. My Logitech keyboard has Insert and a line under it and Print Screen below the line. I have tried using it with the Shift, Alt as wel as control button alternately besides just Insert by itself but have had no luck.
If someone could write back and instruct me about the Insert feature I would appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Frank
I have the Microsoft Comfort Keyboard and it has a "F lock" key. This key has to be set on "Off" to let it know that I want to use the Print Screen function versus the Insert function on the same key. May be your keyboard is the same way.
I found out the 'solution'. The "F-Lock" button must be pushed to access those extra 'functions' on the those three keys. However, depending on the application you are using (in my case a 3270 Emulator), that disables the Function Keys. So I render 12 keys useless to get one key back.... yuck.

ive tried everything and i cant get my insert key to work either. control, alt, shift or F lock didnt work. any ideas out there?
does the Insert text appear in a different colour? For example, if its in blue, you may need to press the Fn key (if there is one, similar to laptops). Do you have the part number of the keyboard?
