Step 1: System Restore
If you have done Windows update and got windows genuine
notification error, you can do a system restore. Restore to a point where
Windows update is not done.
Step 2: By Deleting files manually
To remove WGA manually Navigate to the below location and
delete
wgatray.exe and
wgalogon.dll
C:\\Windows\System32\wgatray.exe
C:\\Windows\System32\wgalogon.dll
Step 3: Delete WGA entry from registry
Access Registry by typing
regedit in
RUN and Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ Current
Version\Winlogon\ Notify\ Wgalogon
You need to right Click on Wgalgon and delete it and restart
your PC
