Recently my camera started to ask for pushing the reset switch more and more. Now it is totally blocked and doesn't answer any function so I can't even do the "open eject" function. What can I do? I hear some tick-tack noise inside like from a watch or a clock. The motor seems to be blocked somehow. I would be grateful for any advice. Olafur Gislason [email protected]

My camera does the same thing, it keeps telling me to reset and after I do so it shows the view for fraction of a second then goes back to ask for reset! Panansonic company quoted $211.00+ Tax to review/fix the problem. Does any one think that it is worth it? and could they really fix it?

Hmm...maybe:
You need to know in which position was camera turned of.
So try turning it on in RECORD OR PLAY position.
It will work then...

How do i rest camera to factory settings

Try this Turn on the camera, push the menu button, push left, down and then right.

You are now on SETUP menu.

Scroll up to the RESET option, push right and then answer YES two times.

It is possible to add a motherboard reset switch to a vostro 200 pc

Manually very probably, but need to open it find the reset 2 pins connector next to the power on/off pins and make a switch and then get it outside with cables. but normally don't need all that.
Just push the power button down for maybe 5 seconds and the computer will by force turn off then just push it again and turn it on, is almost the same as a hard reset button function.

I have a Panasonic PV-GS14 and it ALWAYS says 'Push Reset Button'

I had the same problem. In desperation, I picked up my trusty can of compressed air and aimed a few shots into the recorder/playback mechanism. Worked like charm.

Reset lamp meter panasonic pt44lcx65

Greetings!

It's been a while since I did one of these, but if I remember correctly:

- Turn on the set
- Push volume down on remote and at the same time....
- Push Split on the remote and hold both for 5 seconds

This should do it. The display should reset to "0". If not, try using the PIP button instead of the Split button. I have heard of a few sets using this sequence. Either way, the key is holding both buttons simulataneously for at least five seconds.

Good luck!

Service manual for Panasonic Handycam NV GS15

I fixed 2 cameras with same problem "Push Reset Switch"
Removed small foreign plastic object which was jamming mechanism without stripping.
In both cases a very tiny piece of one of the broken plastic 'catch' of the door was the problem.
Turn unit upside down and give it a good shake-up and it will drop off & problem solved.
Hope this helps.

Push the reset button

let the camera sit alone for About 20 min,so that the camcorder automatically turned off. I turned it off, then back on and did not receive the reset button prompt.
if that doesn't work unplug the battery and all power and plug back in.
