I am currently undergoing this as well. There should be behind the instrument panel on the right side a harness for the old steroeo, but if it has been removed the hardwiring is pretty straight forward. My first step was finding which wires go where. Pull out the speakers and see what's there. That sould get at least eight of them out of the way. After that it was trial and error for me. I have a wriring diagram for my truck but there have been so many accessories over the years you can't tell what's what. Black should be ground. Yellow is Accy. power and Grey is constant power supply. Good Luck!
