How to Unlock an American Tourister Suitcase's Number Lock
<b>• Place the suitcase right side up and look at every number wheel to find a hole at the bottom.
• Bring the holes of the three wheels in the same position.
• Now keep holding the button as to unlock and rotate the 1st wheel and reduce its number by 1.
• Repeat the same process with the rest of the two wheels.
• Again start with the 1st wheel and reduce another 1 position.
• Repeat the same process with the rest of the two wheels.
• Attempt the whole process for the third time and your suitcase will get unlocked.

this trick was not much of help.... Basically I went through all combinations starting 000, 001 ,002 etc.
Thank You, Soumya Bose. Your suggestion worked with the lock in our American Tourister combination lock. Just to be clear this lock is attached/glued to the suitcase. No TSA002 diesignation.
Couple of key points to note:
We found out was that the holes are visible when more than one number is selected. The holes show up in the center, left of the slot.So, we selected the numbers such that the holes are lined up in the same orientation ( in our case left of center of slot).
We also started with the suggested sequence with the number that is farthest from the latch. It might have worked starting with the number closest to the latch, but we do not know!
It was a great help, it took me 40 seconds to execute it after reading your help.

it works for need the fastest way, if you have time then do by trial one by one 000 unlock 001 unlock ...999 unlock and takes 30 minutes .

I understood that only after opening the lock. And yes. if you place the suitcase that way, that you look directly onto the wheels, NOT the numbers, than you'll find little wholes under each wheel when it's number is correct.

You can try 999 combinations but it's time consuming. Easiest way is to use a very fine blade with pointy tip and insert on right side of number wheel. Each wheel has a smaller wheel next to number wheel which is not visible. Now turn wheel and when you feel blade has pushed in make a note of the front number. Do the same to other two wheels. Let's say you got code 123, so to open it code will be 678. Basically opposite numbers, if you write it on a piece of paper numbers 0-9 you will be able to find opposite numbers.

It's simple actually. Check for screws inside of your bag and unscrew them which is holding the lock on outside. Once unscrewed you will have the lock in your hand. Roll your numbers to check 3 numbers having grooves in same position and allows the unlock grooves fit in. Once you have got the 3 numbers grooves allowing the unlock button fit in, check the combination number it allowed. There you go, now you know your combination lock number. This method is for locks which do not have a reset button on outside of the lock.

I forgot my American turistor numbers lock ,please slove.
You will need a very bright light, and a magnifying glass. You need to see the tiny strip of axle visible between the right side of each cylinder, and the case. The crack may be less than a staple in width, and in deep shadow. So it will take careful positioning. Exactly one number on each cylinder will have a visible channel in that space. Once you have all three of the numbers with the channels lined up, rotate them all, one number at a time, and try to open the case. My channels were on 956, so I tried 067, 178, 289, 390, 401 and 512, at which point it opened.
