These things are pre requisites for engine cranking: PTO/Blades are off/button pushed down, the steering arms are out/parked position, and you are in the seat. I think. Definitely the blades have to off.
My tractor is doing the exact same thing now. Did you ever get this problem figured out? I figure it to be a grounding problem, a short, or this "kill relay" problem.

If new call your supplier?
When finished using, turn off the fuel line, there should be a cut off tap?
Be careful you don't get cover in fuel. Play safe!
If there is a leak, most likely a failed seal or loose screw? If attempting yourself, make sure itis turned off and cold, usual safety, no naked flames/cigs/pipes/cigars.matches/ or you could be a Flaming Torch".
Otherwiswise leave it to the suppliers.
