Thats caused by failed convergence ICs and resistors. You can get the JVC AV48wp74 -AV65WP74 cnvergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the ICs , Resistoirs and the cd with repair instructions.
The clicking sound is the TV trying to restart itself. It generally attempts this several times before giving up. The blinking code indicates the type of error (error codes are documented in the manual for the TV). The most likely cause is a burned out bulb, but could be something else.
If it is a bulb, it is usually replaceable without a service technician, and at a cost far less than $450.
Good luck.
had service man in. states its the high voltage relay. waiting for price on replacement part. i will post when i find out. not much help around here, other than 'pay for experts'.
This usually is heat related. Is the filter clean? The fan working? Otherwise there is most likly a "so called" cold solder joint...where the connection on a board is not positively made...often when it warms up the joint will 'open'..disconnect. This needs re-soldering.
Im afraid your t.v is starting to... well die... it probably would cost more to fix it than buy a new one i would recommend you to buy a new one as it isn't exactly the best t.v. if you have not had it for long, see if you still have your warranty.
