Have a commerical frigidaire that has a horrible smell coming from the inside. smells plastic/chemical. makes me dizzy when i smell it. there is no food inside only bottled water, pop and beer. help!

also ck to make sure you removed all the shipping packing sometimes this gets left inside by accedent and smells something horrible when heated ( caution :: Foam degrades to cyanide deadly gas when heated!!!!)
drip tray is around the back you have to remove the lower panel where the compressor is located should be 6-8 screws holding the panel on sometimes it is made out of cardboard other times its made out of metal unplug machine when going inside to see what the smell is some small animals may get caught inside and chopped up by the fan blades hopefully this is not the case for your occurance of smell but it is something i have seen hope this helps

what kind of supply line is gong to the unit,, if it is plastic change it to copper,, copper doesn't keep the sediments stuck to it, which will make it smell,,
Have you tried using detergent HE (High Efficientcy) for front loaders? I had this problem and changed over to HE Detergent (Tide) and it solved my problem. Good Luck
