How do I uplodad my videos from my panasonic VDR-D230 but when it is connected to the computer i cant see the videos on the computer. It has just an empty file.

Hello...
The file containing the photos might have got in to hidden file... So enable 'show hidden files' in folder options in TOOLS tab... Then you can access your photos in the camera after connecting with the PC...

you cant put the information on with the ac adapter which is behind the battery with 7.9v so u will need ur ac adpater while u are loading or it will not connect and thats what usb mode means. if you dont understand atleast phone the panasonic helpline because they have just helped me.

You have software issues. For a program to play back on a computer, the computer has to have installed the program that was used to make it. Conversely, if you make a file in your computer, your dvd unit has to have the program in it to recognize and play it back.

Color is off when on the tv

I have the same problem
I have good experience with audio/video devices and tried to troubleshoot this problem with no luck
I highly suspect it is related to color system setting on the camcorder and the VCR.
Tried to use 2 camcorders and 2 cables with the same problem.
