I just bought a Sony RMV210 Universal Remote for my iLo LCD tv because it said it supported iLo products, however none of the listed codes worked for me. I also tried the codes for Emerson and none of them worked either.

Funny enough I have an ILO TV as well. A nice cheap wal-mart buy, bad for universals. I tried just about every code, and finally got one to work with mine. Problem is, now I can't get it to work with the DVD player.

This happens with some manufactures. Thankfully some codes will work with other TV's. This is the "Code Search" starts. Your remote has a way to try other codes to see if they will work.
If all else fails it appears Sony has a support hot-line available at 1-800-822-2217 that maybe able to help you find the code. Just make sure you cover all the troubleshooting steps you've already done.

Icouldn't get emerson codes to work
I couldn't get it to work for a Magnovox DVD player.
After reading one of the Solutions presented here, I was able to use the Code Search feature to find the right code, well set the right code since you don't actually know the code but it just gets set for you. What you do is turn the DVD on, and then on the RMV210 Remote you press Set until the light comes on (2 seconds), the DVD key, and then I kept pressing the Channel Up (+) key followed by the Power key -repeating as quickly as I could- until the DVD went off, and then I pressed the Enter key. It only took a little while, 20 or less tries I'd guess. Good luck.
