Power up problem

Hi ! I was told that my problem was with the power supply board. I have replaced it and the problem is still there. When I plug the TV in the AC outlet, a relay on the power supply board keeps clicking and two small surface mount red LEDs on the main board flash. This cycle repeats itself a few times and stop. At this point both the POWER and OPC lights on the front panel flash. I hope you can help.
Thank you.

Hi plasma lg tv 42px4mvh-ta when i switch on it does's not switch on, i contacted technician the Guy told me that the main power supply board has a problem of suppling power how will you assist me

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Hi,

Dust can be a massive cause of problems on a motherboard as it acts like a blanket causing components to overheat and sometimes conducts small amounts of electricity. Many boards on this condition are basically fried and need replacing. You could try a 24 pin power supply but i doubt that will make any difference as you have done everything to restore it.

Sharp AR 337 won't turn on

if you are not getting any lights when you plug in and turn on power switch. These would be the steps I would follow, make sure on/off switch is functioning, 15 amp fuse is good or any fuse on power supply board, make sure power is coming out of power supply board. Power supply is the board with the power cord coming up to. Hope this helps. Should have a tech familiar with this machine check.
