Which cables go where???????

Cables with tags from ECS Motherboard K7VMM+(which is now faulty/broke)

Tag 2+D Green cable
Tag 1-D White cable
Tag 1+D Blue cable
Tag 2-D Yellow cable
Tag 1+5v Red cable
Tag 1Ground Black cable
Tag 2Ground Black cable
Tag 2-D Yellow cable
Tag 2+5v Red cable

Please advise which cables go where on replacement M7211 motherboard

The manual states as follows:-
1 VCC(1)
2 VCC(2)
3 USBO-
4 USB1-
5 USBO+
6 USB1+
7 Ground
8 Ground
9 No Pin
10 USBOC

I am unable to fathom out which cable go where on my new motherboard

Hi thanks for your reply but I need to know exactly which of my 9 tag cables above go to which pin on my MSI m7211 board JUSB1.

Your suggestion shows 2 No Green but I only have ONE Green (as above)

The block pins read 9 7 5 3 1(top row)
10 8 6 4 2 (bottom row)

Compatible processor in K7VMM ecs motherboard

According to the ecs website :

http://www.ecs.com.tw

the K7VMM version 1.2A has a cpu socket 462 for AMD Athlon XP/ Athlon / Duron processor

Go to : http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Index.aspx?MenuID=0&LanID=0

and use the ECS search box with your model # K7VMM
then choose your version #, click it

then click on the CPU tab (under the pic of the motherboard). It shows a complete list of compatible cpu's for this motherboard. Did this answer your question?

Tower top mounted USB portss

The cables from the front panel USB connectors have a key in them that will line up with the missing pin on the board's USB headers. Just line up the connectors and plug them onto the board. It doesn't matter if you use USB1 on the board for the plug marked USB1.
