Needing to know how to set tent up it has metal poles I think it's a 6 or 10 man tent could be a 8 man not sure

They seem to make a few models. There are videos and text articles, but the best thing is to lay out the tent base, make up the poles and work it out. Peg the 4 corners of the tent, then it depends on the type of tent, but ridge pole in next, then the apex poles at the end, and then lift up on the legs. The peg in all the guy ropes and tighten.

Tesco 6 Person Vis-a-Vis Tent Instructions

Whoever they employed to write the instructions should be shot or go back to kindergarten....how difficult can it be?

Anyway, this tent is relatively easy to put up IF you know how to do it...which the instructions are painfully inadequate. It (un)helpfully uses colour coding on black and white print out and not explaining which way around the longer/shorter poles should be. Actually, once the poles are in, the instructions are ok....but it is a major point and wastes a shtload of time.
There are 2 LONG (well, slightly longer) poles, with a yellow sticker on the end (which comes off after 1 use of the tent). Start on one side of the tent with 2 poles (one longer, one shorter). Slide the long pole into the inner rib (ie towards the middle of the tent), then put in the shorter pole on the outside rib (i.e.the furthest away from the middle). You do need some grunt to force these into place, but at least they go (they won't if you put the wrong pole in the wrong slot). Then do the other side of the tent, longer first (inside), shorter second (outside). Then just pin everything else together like the instructions show.
The tent is ok, just ok, not great, not terrible, although it is pretty terrible in the wind, but what do you expect for 60 quid.

No instructions giving to erect our tent 6 man regatta hyperdome model no 927/5887

I bought one of these yeaterday. The instructions - for what they are worth are sewn inside the carry bag. So I decided to put it up today. Not as easy as i would have thought, but then this is my first tent of this size. ( saw a nice Outwell Montana 4 in Millets for 225.00 which would have been my tent of choice). But at half price in Argos I couldn't argue that one.

So to put it up.....
lay out the fly sheet in the approximate final position. put poles in as per instructions ..blue to back red to middle and blue to front.. across the tent. ( the pole guides are all colour coded.) Make sure poles are in pins at the base of fly sheet (bending gently to attach). these are attached by the black elastic straps.put in porch pole, put in front to back poles left and right.

Anchor back of tent temporarily with pegs. Lift from porch forward to lift tent. Temporarily peg base of poles, straighten out so that the straps inside tent are approximately perpendicular to each other. Move poles to tension flysheet and tighten anchor points on flysheet using straps buckles to pull flysheet down as far as possible ( to help prevent draughts)., anchor guy lines when happy with final position.

Put up inside ground sheet and attach to points on inside of flysheet. put up rooms starting with the rear yellow hook and work around to front red hook.

These instructions were not specifically provided but this was our first try and probably could be improved on. It requires 2 people for speed if nothing else.

Enjoy

General instruction manuel

Assemble all the poles, thread poles through sleeves, connect one end of the poles to the tent, stand up one by one! North face and sierra design tents are tricky at first but get easier the more times you do it!

Coleman salt lake tent 9 man no instructions please help?

the instructions are useless anyway. you put the red poles through the 2 side bedrooms. the black rods and the black poles with the bends in join together and go diagonally through the middle of the tent. the yellow rods join together with the black poles with the yellow tape round the ends and u fit these from the inside of the front and back entrance then when the tent is up you just hook the bedrooms in. hope this was usefull
