Codes to use dish network remote on cyberhome dvd player

Here is a list ofcodes that should address your DISH Network remote to your Curtis DVD player: 678, 679, 683, 585, 592, and 594. Start by pressing and holding the DVD/VCR button located on the top of the remote until allthe mode buttons at the top of the remote light up, then release. Use thenumber buttons to enter one of the codes for your Curtis DVD player, thenpress the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the modelight flashes three times.To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote tomake sure it will properly operate your DVD player. Keep in mind that somecodes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, pleasetry the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment. Power scan instructions:

Step 1:
Press and hold the DVD mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate,then release.

Step 2:
Press and release the Power button.

Step 3:
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desiredequipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will poweroff.

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

I had rca remote that did not recieve ir signals but rf signals instead. Check online with rca or in owners manual for what type of signal factory remote sends. The dvd player I had was 5 dvd and that was the case. Dish might have an option like direct tv where you can program rf signals as well. Call dish network support or look online

The remote in most cases will not work on a combo set for power and vol.

I have DirecTV and I have the same remote and I read somewhere you can use the codes for Sampo. I found the codes in the DirecTV remote's manual. The first one I used worked. Hope this helps!

You would need to contact the company that makes the remote and maybe Cyberhome for the code.

In the remote codes guide, the Cyberhome DVD player is listed under "Portable DVD"...the code is 2083...worked for me, enjoy.

I have a CyberHome CH-DVD-300 unit with a Dishnet remote. The remote code that worked for me is 724.

I just tried the solution suggested by jcallahan on my Motorola DRC800 remote for my Cyberhome CH-DVD 300. The code that worked was 1023.
