Will not fill with water but works on spin cycle

If your washer won't fill with water, but works in the spin cycle then the washer is sensing that water is in the tub. If there isn't water in the tub, then it is probably a sensor. If there is water but the spin cycle doesn't get it out, then look at the pump or control board.

could be a control board problem

Washer doesnt agitate (washe properly). Fills with water then only spins in the wash cycle. Following wash cycle, it spins the opposite direction until drained and complete. Replaced the belt with new one...

Type 111 filled with water and stopped

with the machine off, turn the cycle dial around 3x very harshly, then try it again. If it works normally now, you'll need a new cycle switch soon!

if it doesnt spin or agitate motor could be out, but check lid switch first some machines are wired to kill both or just spin.

Kenmore 2 Way Tumble Action Front Load Washer

no thats two different problems. The rubber piece (boot) forms a seal to prevent the water from leaking out, that should be replaced. Water might have leaked and ruined the pump. At the end of all cycles is there still water in the tub? If so your pump is either clogged or has gone bad, and thats why the washer wont go into extract.
