Bosch Axxis After a washing cycle is done a door lock is not being released. I hear a periodic sound at the lock area (attempts to unlock?). Tried to unplug the washer, didn't help. Went through each position on a mode dial and suddenly the lock was released. Thought it was a glitch and set another washing cycle. This time I tried “worm”. When I pushed a Start button, nothing happened. I switched to “cold” and it started normally. After the cycle was done a sound indicator was wrong (instead of "finished" it played "ready", the door couldn't be unlocked again. Got it open gust like in the first case. Would appreciate an advice. Thank you.

According to the manual, you have to:

1. Turn program selector to "off"
2. Turn selector to Drain or Spin
3. Press the start / pause

Wait until program ends.

Open door.

or

Press "start / pause" until the start / pause light flashes.

SOURCE: remove bosch axxis 2060 washer motor

Remove the back panel to get to the motor which is at the bottom at the back. Notice two bolts holding the motor into the mount. Remove these two bolts. Notice the back part of the motor is sitting in the mount with black rubber washers. Carefully, pull the motor forward, and this will be abit hard. You can take a flat head screw driver and tap down (in between) on each front plastic washer and the motor will slowly come forward. Becarefull because there is a wire harness still attached to the motor. You have to take wire cutters and clip the placstic band holding the wire harness to the motor. Then grip the harness and wiggle it free. Then remove the single wire also. Putting the belt back is a bit tricky too. Make sure you put back the two black rubber washers and the two front plastic washers.

Sounds like have inadvertently activated the child lock. To deselect you need to press and hold the start button for approx 5 secs or until the key light goes out. Hope this helps, please let me know if this works or if you need further assistance.l
