SOURCE: Dell optical mouse problem

Good mice are cheap. If you spend a little more you can get a much more comfortable mouse, or even a laser mouse as opposed to an LED. I suggest mice from Logitech or Microsoft. The cheap Dell mice they send with systems are not the best, we've had dozens of them fail here in the office.

Connects and clicks just doesnt move the curser

I presume you can see the motion sensing red LED or laser beam shining under the mouse. If not, that has gone bad, and it would probably be more economical to replace the mouse than to attempt a repair.

If the light is on under the mouse, try cleaning the lenses (both LED and photoreceptor) with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). Don't scrub, just wipe the optics gently until clean.

My intex mouse suddenly stopped to work though the LED is on. This is not the first time.

Well this problem happens to be a universal one although I must say if you want to solve this one all by yourself then u've got to open up back cover of your mouse ( using a screwdriver ) then remove the dust wherever u find it. Find out which circuit is being obstructed by the filth and if there is something obstructing it then simply use a blade to remove the dust so that the connection between various ends and terminals is again possible. However if the problem persists then give it to a hardware specialist which I doubt would be able to solve the problem ( instead he would give u a new one ) Dude buy a new one instead how costly could it be ?? If yours is in warranty then get it replaced !!

Microsoft standard wireless optical mouse troubleshooting...

alright The Optical Mouse works on the "reflection" principle.
If it is only working on the T-shirt,the T-shirt Must allow it to read the Light Reflection with more details compared to the other shiny or smoother surfaces.
so,make sure you use some surface close to the T-shirt's.
and as you have been use that mouse directly on the deck surface, the little LED must have goten Dusted or the plastic arround the LED(light).
Hope that helps...
If the Mouse is in warranty **** any replacement if possible underwarranty.
