Our maytag washer model# MAH5500BWW serial# 74966260AC seems to be stuck on the spin cycle and will not spin nor drain. I pulled the back cover off and it appears that the drain motor where 2 hoses are connected with a plastic covered electrical connector is plugged in is making a clicking sound. What is my problem?

two problems here,
your shaft seal is running on its last leg
the sound is unmistakeable and always described the same...
the water issue, you probably have a trickle leak through the cold water valve
the mixing valve is quite an easy repair, but I would have to say with all honesty, it probably time for a new machine
the hub seal is a tub replacment call
2 hrs of labor if hes good
and the tub runs around 500.00 dollars
sory for the bad news
Sounds like the control board is bad. take the back panel off the control panel and look at the R11 resistor and see if it burnt. If it is replace the control board and the door wax motor (in the locking mechanism)
