Go to CONTROL PANEL / POWER OPTIONS / POWER METER. Is the battery charged or charging?
If POWER METER says the battery is charged, you have a motherboard problem. Take it to a tech.
Do you have a voltmeter?
Remove the battery and check for voltage at the laptop's battery contacts, while it is plugged in. No voltage = charging circuit defect. A blown internal fuse or other motherboard problem. Take it to a tech.
Voltage OK or no voltmeter - take it to a tech.
A qualified technician should have a schematic and other technical documentation for your model It can be rather difficult (expensive) and hit-or-miss to locate possible fuses without the factory paperwork.
Good luck.
