Hi
I have a Sony Tv model KV-28LS35U. What are the codes I require to input into Thomson Top Up TV remote to make it work TV - and how do I do it !!

Go to tesco tech support site,find codes then press tv,ok and av together,light will flash,enter code,if done right light will flash again,tv should now respond to remote,if not try again with next code.

Here are some setup codes for Sony TV. Select one which will have maximum functionality. Check with all of them, and select one which can operated maximum function with tV. It is a trial process. If one stup code won't allow to some functions, try an other one, till you get maximum functions can be controlled with.

  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Many TV functions can be controlled from the on-screen menus using buttons on the TV itself. These include all kinds of settings however Sony did not include PIP in these menus. Therefore a valid remote is required to operate PIP. One thing you could try is removing the cable from the secondary input on the TV which provides the signal for the other picture. Without an input signal PIP may be disabled. Also, try buying a universal remote and setting the proper code for your TV. Original remote could be hard to find but remotes.com may have one.

In many cases the 4 digits code for sony tv`s is "0000"
But if you let me have your remote`s brand name and model # i may be able to help you further.
The model# may be inside the battery compartment.

NEED CODES TO USE WITH ONE FOR ALL UNIV. REMOTE URC3300
Try holding down the tv power button and keep holding it while you press the channel button until your tv comes in.. It takes a few pushes. Make sure your tv is off first though.
