With some of the universal control models, all the functions of a TV cannot be controlled, especially with Loewe. The functions now works perfectly will. That is all. Sometimes the functions and buttons will not coincide. For example, if we press volume UP channel will change , if we press digit '1' set will switch off and so. OK

My problem turned out to be the primary power supply. I had a Loewe tech guy fix it, and it cost $187.00 (Australian) for parts and labour.

had same problem, solved by lamp replacement. back to full glory!

There is a software patch that increases the cut off temperature you may get this at Loewe Website. Quick fix is reverse one of the fans on the back of the set this gives a through flow of air rather than all fans blowing into the set.

Loewe is not importing into the US, however, they still contract with Panurgy (based in NJ) to provide service to US owners. Call them at 1-866-563-9387, and they can advise on what to do, or provide an in-home service call to repair using original parts.
