The games are working fine, but when i enter the blu ray disc tv comes with a message saying 'Mode not supported' i have tried changing the resolution settings on the ps3 but its still not working
To fix this problem, in your PS3 menu go to Setings, BD/DVD Settings then change BD 1080p 24 Hz Output (HDMI) to "Off" (you probably have it in Automatic). Try you BD movies now.
Hope it helps :)
Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for all settings.

I seem to have the same problem with my new game "Racedriver GRID". When the disc is inserted I get the message "mode not supported". If I pop it out and insert any other game, no issue

My PS3 still does not work after trying the push the button and wait for 5 sec. fix. I was able to get it to play the disc, but the video never came onto my screen.
I am able to play PS3 games and regular DVD's but once I enter a blue ray dvd I receive a message that there are no signals
When trying to watch a blu-ray movie on ps3, message comes up that says "not supported mode"
