Hi Denis,you are having wrong board tally because you fixed the wrong part.pls check the part number and get a new one and fix it back.

For some critical alarm issues you can use the clear facility-alarm critical command. However, this doesn't resolve all issues. Unfortunately, if the above command doesn't work, there isn't another option other than to start replacing hardware. I've got a crit alarm on a perfectly function 1006 right now, and we basically just have to live with it. It's a bug, in my opinion.

The hardware error indicated on your printer is indicating that the printer is encountering problems when moving the print head.


This error can be indicated if there is any thing which may be preventing print head movement, things you can check include;

The printer ribbon is not jammed and is located correctly in the printer,
You can also check to ensure there is no paper jam of loose paper which may prevent print head movement,
You can also check the carriage shaft to ensure it is free from paper dust or any other obstructions.
With the printer powered off, the print head should slide freely across the width of the printer, you can then see if there is any obstruction to the printhead

Hi, this beeping alarm signifies error in one the hardware components, i advice you power off, check and key or clip all the hardware components very well, most especially the memory stick.

It seems to be a gear problem . may some gears are not in proper position. function selection gears are not in proper position.

There is a broken gear(s) in its mechanism that's why you are having this hardware alarm message.

Please tell me the hardware alarm number . The number will display onthe control pannel LCD of your printer. Then only I can help you.
