Our remote control has stopped working. We only bought the set 2 weeks ago and used the batteries provided. It stopped working 2 days ago. We have replaced with new batteries and nothing happens. The light doesnt even come on when you point it at the screen?

I would suspect a fault but check the batteries in the remote are fitted
correctly.

Apparently, the original remote is no longer available, but it always worth trawling eBay for used remotes. I've found many unavailable remotes for customers there. Remotes.com have a substitute remote available for $19.99 plus $7.95 shipping = £27.94 total.

There is an internal component that has failed on the remote. Replace the remote and your issue will be solved.

the batteries of remote control may exhausted , replace it
the remote control working you may check through your mobile camera by following step

1. point the camera in front of your remote control's eye that is the LED
2. now press the remote control's any button and see in the mobile camera that LED is glowing or not
3. you may check other working remote of any other product which you have by this way i.e. through mobile camera

The Braemar heater I have is wired directly to the control unit. The only way to reset the time is to turn of the heater for 5 minutes - the remote display should clear, and turn it back on (takes a minute for remote to come back on) the time will be flashing - use the Up and Down arrows to set the time, and SET button to set the day of week.

try some new battery if that dont work then look on online for the code to reset it

It can be a faulty infra-red receiver board, usually wont pick up signal from wide angle or distance. what is your tv?

Try changing the batteries. Most times the "tivo" buttons will work but the "tv" buttons will stop working when the batteries are low.

If you have done that, go back into settings and program the remote again for your tv, then give it a shot.
