You would need to do a factory reset
From the Sony Forums:
factory reset to your Television.
Turn on the TV.
Wait approximately 40 seconds for the TV to completely start up.
On the TV remote control, press and hold the UP ARROW button.
While holding the UP ARROW button, with your other hand reach around the side of the TV and press and release the POWER button on the TV set.( not the power button on the remote) it should be the top button along the side panel.
Switch ON the TV, at least two times, and make sure about how many times do this front LED blinks, at one time switch ON. These blinks are fault indications. From the number of blinks occur, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside the TV. If you wish to know more about the blinking codes and other details http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ try this link. Pull up older posts there by its left side bar. Blinking codes to many brand TVs are given in detail.
A reset if the sony above might cure this but usually it is a combination of front buttons--most common is vol up and channel up at same time for several seconds.
If that fails let me know and I will tell you the usual way to reset the set.
To fix this, access the TV's menu and find the option to run initial setup. At the beginning of initial set-up, you'll be asked whether or not the TV should be put into Home or Retail mode. Choose Home.
Power ON the television (Use remote Commander) 1.Select "TV" mode (not AV, demo mode can't switch offwhen you are in AV) 2. Press the "home" button on the remote. 3. Select "settings" 4. Select "set up" 5. Scroll down to "factory setting" and restore them. 6. When it asks home or shop display select "home".
you can exit the DEMO MODE by the following setup.
Power ON the television
1. select "TV" mode (not AV, demo mode can't switch off when ur in AV) 2. Press the "home" button on the remote. 3. select "settings". 4. select "set up" . 5. Scroll down to "factory setting" and restore them. 6. when it asks home or shop display select "home". ok
