the phone need to be flashed. take it to the shop for flashing. it work again

it all depends on the carrier you have, I know t mobile and cingular do have sim cards in them , remove the battery and usually you will find a slot for a sim card if it requires one.

make it dry with air blower and a piece of soft clothes-bring a plastic box bigger than the size of your cell put cell inside and add a good quantity of rice and close the box-leave it for a couple of days.
-after that take cell out connect the battery and watch....

Get on EBay, buy a new screen for phone and install it, very easy to do and utube sill have video's that show you how to repair it
