SOURCE: Problem with draining water through hose
I raised mine up on a platform about 6 inches, and now mine works fine. Don't know why this is necessary, but atleast it works now.
SOURCE: haier 30 pint dehumidifier continuous drain problem.
Many just attach the hose at the reservoir; from your description, Haier apparently has a separate location. Check that the point that the hose attaches has an opening (many don't, they expect you to drill it). It should then drain through gravity. Check to make sure that no part of the drain hose is higher than the bottom of the reservoir, otherwise it can't drain. It won't siphon because each time the the tank empties, the suction is broken and the siphoning can't continue.
SOURCE: Dehumidifier
Hey ya! To fix this u need to block that hose connection under the Dehumidifier. This will then re direct the flow to the Bucket collection mode. I have the same problem and resolved it this way after pullng mine apart. It looks like by default that hose connection at the bottom should have a plug/cap on it and after turning on ur dehumidifier this fills up then once full it starts to over flow into the bucket... Seems a strange design but thats how they have done it.
Hope this helps others.
SOURCE: dehumidifier not draining
hose/fitting is clogged - blow it out with your mouth or what ever - it won't be a hard clog
SOURCE: Attached a pump to drain collected water. The
the water should still collect into the tank. the dehumidifier had a float switch that shut the unit off when the tank is full. In turn it should have a second switch, probably a float switch that turns the pump on and off so that the pump doesnt continue to run when there is no moisture in the tank
