If the headset goes dead almost immediately after charging the issue is likely with one of the control circuits. In the unlikely event the battery is the issue is manufacturer replaceable only. I'd recommend calling VXi at 800-742-8588 for warranty repair option information.
If the CS70 headset has a charge and beeps when you press the call
control button, you may just need to re-pair or re-subscribe the headset
to the base unit. Here is a link for the pairing / subscription
instructions:
If the headset is not charging, the internal battery may be worn out and
the headset may need to be replaced (the battery is hard wired and is
not replaceable). The replacement headset is model 72910-01. Below is a link where you can purchase the replacement headset.
If you have the Plantronics Voyager Pro headset, you should be using the
ac adapter that came with the headset ( model 79414-01 ). If the
headset will not charge, it could be broken or the internal battery may
be worn out. Keep in mind that the Voyager Pro has a one year warranty,
and Plantronics will replace it within the warranty period.
Hi, do you have the manual with you?,If you do you can use itto know how to charge the blue tooth device,i think the battery is a little bit low and will need to be charged forlonger hours for it to be able to power up.
So you can use the manual to see how to charge the device.
since you have not used it for more than a year, it only mean that the battery is totally drained, you just have to be a bit patient charging it. just wait til the light gets on. if after an hour or so and it's still the same, then it's time to change the battery or the headset itself.
Well if it holds no charge you will most likely have to replace it as it is the battery inside the bluetooth headset in otherwords the battery is buggered lol. do you still have the headset and the charging cradle?
Toss it. They aren't replaceable. You have to break open the case (glued shut). Even if you opened it, the replacement would likely cost you what it would to replace the whole unit.
