My phone suddenly got shutdown, I tried to open it, but it had stuck. after one day it started to work with lots of refreshes.now its working but refuses to take the signals of any Sim. so I can not do any thing with this mob as it is refusing to take signals, although it is showing Sim msgs and contacts. could any body help me out?

You might have filled up the memory to the brim and the phone doesn't have enough to switch on.
Try reformat to original settings. anything you stored on the phone will be lost.

How to reformat your phone, first turn it OFF. Press * 3 send at the same time and keep them pressed while you turn the phone on.
Give it time to work.

Remember, do not let go the 3 keys until you see the formatting screen.
After a few minutes when the process is over, your Nokia N70 will be back to the original delivered system.

Try to format your phone, use the following steps.
Switch off the phone. Press phone on again. Now hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, (* )button, and '3' button. Format is complete when you see 'Choose Country' option. All your data in phone memory will belost, but your data in the memory card will still be there. if this does not work, take your phone to the service center and have it flashed

If you go into menu and press contacts, options, select sim contents, sim directory and the go back to options and mark/Unmark, then select mark all. Your phone will automatically tick all the numbers on your sim. The last thing is to press options again and copy to contacts.

Only reason that could be there is either your phone is protected with password or the sim is protected. Remove the protection and then try.
