Asko dishwasher reset How to Reset an Asko Dishwasher
Press the "Start/Stop" button.
Hold the button for three seconds and release.
Select the program and options on the front panel you want the dishwasher to use. Press "Start/Stop" to restart the dishwasher. You have now reset an Asko dishwasher.
some can be taken apart and inside is a spring loaded connection that pushes the button back out sometimes hard water and soap and debris can jam and stick the spring and u get what ur getting? you may be able to by pass the extra rinse by disconnection the prongs to it and taping them up?
Open the drain hatch at the bottom left of the machine. Open drain pump and check to make sure tat there are no foreign objects in drain pump. Object in the drain pump will prevent the unit from operating properly. If there is water still in the unit, you can use the drain hose to drain the washing machine. If you would like to open the door manually, disconnect power, remove screws holding red plastic handle in place. pull handle.

If you wish to prevent small children or pets from climbing into the machine, you can deactivate the automatic door opening function. 1. Turn off the machine using the main power switch. 2. Press the Door Open button while simultaneously pressing the main power switch. Release the buttons. 3. Press the Key button and the red field goes out. Automatic door opening is now deactivated. 4. Press the Start/Stop button to save the setting. If you want to reactivate the function, follow the instructions above, but when you press the Key button (point 3) the red fields light up. Store the setting by pressing the Start/Stop button.
As the solenoid should should remain power free and closed until the programmer tells the circuit board to switch on the power, it could conceivably be either or both of those things, though I feel the chances are greater the circuit board is at fault.
