I have a frigidaire front load washer model ftf2140fso, i washed a rug, and it stopped, can i access the filter from the front of the washer? [email protected]

Often washing things like rugs and matts can cause real problems for the drain pipes on you machine. Have you tried clearing out the drain plug, located at the bottom of the front of the machine? If that doesn't work, the whole drain hose from the drum will be blocked.

what is error, most likely plugged the pump

Remove thye power Take off the back panel

Lean the machine forward onto a solid surface

Put something underneath it to stop it falling on you

Locate the main hose coming down from the drum to the pump , put a dish under that area

Loosen the clips holding the hose on

Take off the hose and clean out the crud

Reassemble, fill the machine with water via the front door using a jug

Check for leaks, if there are none put the power on and switch the machine into spin mode

The water you put in should come out

Put the back panel on and off you go

I have read that using Nu Fresh in a few of your loads will take care of this problem.

you will have to remove the rear panel in order to remove the front panel. The bolt and clamp are inside the front panel.

Sounds like your motor is blown. That's going to require a repairman.

Time for a new one.
Sound like you have done the main shaft bearing.
