I have just purchased a rebuilt 2 year old Dell computer. Now, I can not get my LexmarkX125 to connect. I don't believe I ever had a disc with the last computer. Do I need one now? Or just how can I get the printer to connect with the computer.

This might help you out, just go this link LEXMARK printer driver and just follow the instruction for installing.

Be sure that you have updated your Windows Vista via internet and then you uninstall the older installation that you made.

I would like to inform you that the Lexmark X4270 printer is compatible with Windows Vista.

Please follow the steps given below to download the driver for the Lexmark X4270 printer:

1. login to www.lexmark.com
2. click on Drivers and Downloads and click on Driver finder.
3. under "Choose Your Printer" type "Lexmark X4270" and click search.
4. Select "Windows Vista" from the drop down list.
5. click on "Download Now" and lcik on save and save it on to your desktop.
6.Next, follow the instructions to install the driver.

How lexmark x1150 is compatible with windows vista
Your printer is compatible, you need to download and install updated software, see here: Windows Vista Compatibility Lexmark Lexmark X1150

Also unplug printer usb cable before installing drivers, and start installer file using right mouse button click, and then the option 'Run as administrator. Also disable antivirus/firewall before installing.

Lexmark 4300
Are you on Vista or XP operating system ?

Lexmark web site has updated drivers for both.
I am using a p4350 on vista, I downloaded the vista driver from Lexmark, it works but Imaging studio doesn't seem to.
However use 'Paint' to scan and don't forget to select or make the P4300 the default printer.

Lexmark 4300 series uploaded onto vista?
Lexmark all in one solution software you used in XP doesn't work with Vista.

But you can still scan and copy by using Windows Photo Gallery.

1. Click on files tab at the top in Window Photo Gallery.
2. Click on import from camera or scanner.
3. Highlight your scanner icon (ie lexmark 4300) then click import.
4. "New scan" window will popup, now you can preview or scan using this basic looking Vista tool.

Hope it helps.
I miss my Lexmark all in one solution scanning software too.

My printer is not working with my new computer
No Vista Drivers Two thing to try. 1. Go to the Lexmark site and seek out Vista drivers for your model. 2.Go to start/printers and Faxes/install new printer. When you are given the choice CD or from list select 'From List' Go to make - Lexmark Go to Model 4300[or any 4000 series if you do not see 4300] Click OK Tell us what happens Finally be preparde to sport out on a new printer that is Vista Compatable
