I have stated this many times, if the heat-sink fan is not spinning or failing, the computer will stall or fail to boot. there is a heat check on the processor to prevent overheating. if you are sure its the fan over the cpu, then replace the whole heat-sink unit. that may solve the problem.

if it does fix it, you can then install the default bios if needed.

Your fan might have problem buy a new one. your computer won't start if it is already at its maximum heat level.

Sir how two install a audio driver for dell optiplex gx 520?

If you go to this site, you can get all of the drivers for the Optiplex GX 520. Please make sure you select the correct version of Windows that you are running (Windows XP, Vista, or 7). Then, select "Audio" from the drop-down list, and download the driver for ADI 198x Integrated Audio.

If you're running Windows XP, you can just click here to go directly to the driver download.

Once you download the driver, just double-click the file to start the installer.

Boot problem with Dell Optiplex GX150

To reinstall Xp from the CD you need to press F2 and go into the BIOS then select the boot order configuration and make the CD the first boot device and the hard disk the second boot device.
After installing XP, if you wish you can go back into the BIOS and change the boot order to boot from the hard disk first.
