I have purchased three milwaukee screw guns in the past year and a half and all four of my batteries will not charge. when my first set stopped working i had to purchased another screw gun and within six months those batteries stopped working. the batteries are lithium ion. one set is the (lithium-ion xc 18v) series catalog # 48-11-1828, 18v--47 Wh li-ion, the other is the (m18 lithium-ion) series catalog # 48-11-1815, 18v--23Wh li-ion. What can I do? I love your products but this has made me question buying anymore milwaukee screw guns. Have you had many problems with these series? I purchased my screw guns from Home Depot. Can you help me out. I feel like i wasted $600.00 on your products.

The same thing happened to me. There is normally a 2 year warranty on the batteries from Milwaukee. You can't return them to the Home Depot, you have to send them back via a local repair center.
You won't be able to exchange the batteries at the repair center. The repair center sends them back to Milwaukee and Milwaukee will send replacement batteries. You will probably be able to find the closest repair center on line.

My Hitachi nv65ah nail gun won't set nails into 3/4 trim. I have played with the turn/screw set adjustment and it is set for the deepest setting. This gun was purchased second hand off e-bay but

If every nail is stopping at the exact same height, a likely reason is the tip of the driver is broken off so it's not long enought to drive the nails all the way to flush. If the height of the nails is slightly different you may have worn or broken o-ring(s) inside the gun and air is leaking around the driver's piston or elsewhere in the gun so that the driver isn't getting full pressure. You can take the gun apart and inspect the o-rings. If you push the driver all the way down the tip should come flush or slightly past the end of the nose piece (not the safety tip). Parts are easy to find online or at a service center if you have one nearby.

I have 4 Milwaukee 28v tools and 4 batteries. Lately when using the sawzall or circular saw, with any of my fully charged batteries the tools stall after only a minute or two of use and the battery...

Your batteries are at the end of their rope and need to be replaced. All batteries die, some sooner, some later. And if you do not maintain them in a manner consistent with directions they will fail sooner!

My 28v milwaukee batteries do not last any time and they are only a couple of years old

Unfortunately even rechargable batteries have a limited lifespan. Two years is good, if you get three years out of one you're doing very well. Lifespan is determined by how much you use then, how many recharges you put on them and how far down you drain them between charges. The more power you take out of a battery before charging it back up the better. Also, there are no repairable parts inside a battery and no way to recondition them once they're worn out. Sorry, not what you want to hear, but the only fix is to buy a new battery.

Losing charge quickly on my 28v batteries

How old are they? You can expect one year out of these batteries, and that is about it. I have boxes full of dead batteries, hoping they will be worth something someday as rare chemicals. No, just saving up for a trip to the recycling bin. But every year I buy a new set, mark the with a sharpie, that is how I know they only last a year, because I have been doing it for 10 years. Hope this helps.

Need to know how to operate milwaukee screw gun?

I hope you're talking screw gun and not drill/driver. Screw gun used specifically to set screws in drywall. Make sure you have proper tip in gun (usually #2 phillips). There should be a rotating collar on the gun to control screw depth. The screw should only "dimple" the drywall. It should not tear the paper but should be below the plane of the drywall. To check depth run a putty knife over the screw heads. If you hear it hit, screws need to go a bit deeper. To work quickly; lock the trigger on and place the screw on the gun. Apply steady pressure and let the screw walk into the board until gun breaks free. Takes a bit of practice but pretty soon you'll be flying.

When hammer drilling after drilling a few holes it stops then starts then stops then starts etc.#5370-1 magnum .i don't believe it is the cord

check the trigger switch inside the gun , a few small screws in the casing will have to be unscrewed then take the gun in half and check the trigger switch connections and possibly replace the switch I have had this problem before with no obvious signs of wear or un connected connections but then i replaced the trigger switch and it worked fine
