I have an RCA tv with no remote. I use a universal remote given by my cable provider. The Guide Plus menu comes on each time i turn on the TV and wont turn off for 10 minutes. The cable is on, but in a small window in the upper left corner. The only way i have gotten it to Not come on, is by manually turning on the tv by hand, then using the remote for the cable. OR spontaneously disconnecting the plug from the tv to the cable, and plugging it back in. Can someone help me with getting rid of the Guide plus using a universal remote or manual controls on the tv?
There is no way to turn off that I can find. I am having the same problems, but when I go to set up of the guide plus there is no option to turn it off that I can find. Please help!
