Can't seem to pair mine to my USB bluetooth network adaptor "dongle" (Azio BTD603-132). The see each other but my phone denies the connection. All settings are setup to be allowed. Maybe a COM port issue?

To identify where the problem is, try connecting another bluetooth device (like another phone, or a bluetooth headset). The other device will most likely connect. If it does, try contacting the manufacturer of the dongle, they will probably have a simple solution to fix it.

If it does not connect to another device, try deleting the bluetooth devices stored in phone (especially ones you dont use, but you may need to delete more/all depending on the situation) and add then. This fixes connection issues the majority of the time with very little trouble since rebonding what you need later is a simple task.

I am trying to pair a Discovery 925 to an ipod touch (2nd generation). It recognizes "9xxPlantronics Not Connected" I click on that bar (or line) and get the keyboard screen with the request to enter...

I might be wrong, but I think the iPod Touch, not being a phone, doesn't have either HSP (HeadSet Profile) or HFP (Hands Free Profile) bluetooth profiles, solely used for phone calls. Nevertheless, being an audio/video reproduction device, it must have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), from its 2nd-gen onwards. Your problem is that the Plantronics 925, being a monoaural bluetooth headset, bears HSP and HFP only. You were able to successfully pair it with your TP2 because it is a phone. You must purchase stereo bluetooth headsets, in order to pair them with your iPod Touch.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

Plantronics specific to ATT?

You have paired your phone to another device. Your phone will not recognize the new device, as it is looking for the old one.

To solve, look for your instructions on how to ADD your headset to an existing connected device.

Or you can hold down the button on your headset until the colors turn red/blue, go to your phone connectivity, search for bluetooth device, once found, then connect and add your password, most likely 0000.

Try that, in that exact sequence. Please rate me!
