Snooze Button Not Working

I love this clock! But now the Snooze button has stopped working so I can't snooze (unless I set the Nap feature). I can tap on the Snooze button 100 times...and MAYBE it will work once every few days. But lately, it's getting worse and worse and I miss my Snoozing. Can anyone help, please??

SOURCE: snooze alarm

According to the manual, you have to "hold the nap button" until the nap indicator turns off. This seems to work "sometimes". The only certain fix I have found is to unplug, remove the batteries and so reset everything.

I believe you can turn Nap off by holding the Nap button for several seconds.

SOURCE: Turning off "NAP" feature

You have to "double-click" the "NAP" button. And on the second "click," hold it down until the "NAP" light goes off.
That worked for me three times in a row, at least.

I am using my mother's Elgin 3400E travel alarm

On my Elgin alarm clock, you just push the nap button and it will add 15 minute increments for a nap. I haven't figured out how to turn it off if I change my mind or wake up earlier than I set it.

Snooze button just suddenly stopped working. Pressing it yields no results.

The switches on these things don't last forever. They wear out with use, and the snooze button probably gets pressed a lot. Sounds like yours has reached the end of its life. They are the same kind of tactile switches commonly found on VCRs and TV sets, and it is possible to replace them. However, unless you have a spare switch and can do the repair yourself, you would be better off replacing the clock radio. The cost of repair, if you can find someone who even would take it for repair, would likely exceed the replacement cost. Small items like this were never meant to be serviced. Ask around, though. Maybe you have a tinkerer friend who could take a shot at this for you.

Snooze doesn't work anymore

1.You will need to reset the microprocessor of the Clock/Radio. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio and take out the internal battery. You must let the Clock/Radio set unplugged and with out the battery for at lease 1 hour. Then replace the battery and plug in the Clock/Radio and see if the functions return to normal. If not try replacing the internal battery (CR2430) and leaving the Clock/Radio unplugged for a few hours. Then put in the new battery and Plug in the Clock/Radio and see if the functions return to normal. If not you may have other problems with the microprocessor. You can call Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020 between the hours of 7am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance. 2.http://www.emersonradio.com/dst.htm Copy this web link and paste it into the address bar of your browser. This will take you to the Emerson customer support web page. This page has the procedure for setting the day light saving feature in your Clock/Radio. I hope this information helps you with your problems.

For the snooze, hold down the snooze button (should display the length of time for snoozing) and hit the time/tune buttons up or down to increase or decrease the snooze time.

For the nap time, press nap and the nap indicator should start blinking. Again, hit the time/tune buttons up or down to increase or decrease the name time in 10 minute increments up to 2 hours.

How do I set the sleep timer?

To adjust snooze time - The system is set for a standard 10-minute snooze time (the number
of minutes you can delay the alarm). While the selected alarm is flashing, hold down Sleep⁄Snooze
and press the Time or to adjust the snooze time (from 1 to 30 minutes) for that alarm. The
number of minutes and Sn appear on the display to confirm your selected snooze time. You can
set a different snooze time for each alarm.
