Protect is flashing in the display of my kenwood kdc-w3037. I can't do anything untill this is solved. nothing is chanced, it all worked perfectly and all of an sudden it's starting flashing protect. What to do do solve this problem??

make sure you have no bare or shorted speaker wires and check your speakers to make sure they are all good. if that all checks out, you probably have a bad output ic.

Security Code for Protect mode

Turn on the car so the radio is flashing "Protect." Look on the front / removable face of the stereo. On it you will find a small round hole - that's a reset button. Find a small paper clip, unfold the clip and stick it gently into the hole. The "Protect" will stop flashing, and Kenwood will be displayed. Unfortunately all your settings/presets will be gone, but at least the stereo is working again!
