I have the kenwood kdc-119 and when i turn off my car it loses its memory and i hav to go bak and reprogram everything... and it wont read my discs... none of them... did i hook it up wrong?? need help.. thx

You should rewire it, if i remember correctly yellow wire should be connected to constant + (or directly to battery +) so the radio doesn't lose any settings when you turn it off
as far as i know there is no green with a white stripe on kenwoods, unless you are looking at a blue with white, which is an amplifier remote turn on wire. you should have a yellow wire which needs to be connected to a constant power source, as this wire keeps the radio preset and clock from losing memory.
There is a small hole at the bottom of the stereo face that will reset the system. I pushed a pen tip into the hole and it turned the stereo off. When I removed the pen, the system turned on and the CD ejected. Problem solved.
