Hi,
It depends what email you want to send. You have two option in sending emails.
One, you can setup an online email from website. like yahoo, gmail, live mail by simply signing up for free.
Two, you can setup an email from your ISP for a certain fee and set it up using your email client installed on the computer, for example, Outlook, Outlook express, Windows mail, Windows Live Mail.
Because you must use another program to send it - like Outlook.
Just do it the correct way: save the ppt file on your pc, close PowerPoint, open your mail program (Outlook or whatever) , compose a new mail , attach the ppt file to it and send the message to its destination.
i guess you are in a office domain while inside office, so you can just connect your network cable / wireless lan and send / Rcv mails....but once you ar at home you are out of the office network / domain.....
to send mails from home you need to check with your network admin guy how to do that, as you may have to get a login id and password for connecting to your official domain from a public network....
there are many things that need to be done for that....
1 you need to get into the domain of your org.
2 your PC / email setting needs to be given the correct DNS address, IP address, mail box address etc....
Pls check with your email admin guy and get it fixed.
