Cect p168 problem internet & MMS settings with Rogers Canada

Hi,
I can't seem to get my internetand mms working with rogers canada.
I also made sure that I had a data plan.

Hi,

I just bought a Cect p168 and I can't access internet (it says connection failed) and also my mms don't work at all!
These are the infos I received with my phone to configure it:
Internet

for rogers canada
http connection type
proxy setting 208.200.067.150
proxy port 8080

You have to create the data account..

***First Step***
1.Main menu –> Select Services
3.Select Data Account –> Select GPRS
5.Select the first entry
6.Edit the account name to whatever you would like
7.Edit APN to media.com
8.Edit Username to media
9.Edit Password to mda01
10.Edit Auth Type. to Secure
11. Save

Select Back –> Select Back

SMS and MMS

For SMS:
Message Settings>common settings >check reply path
go back then to Pref Bearer change to Prefer GSM

For MMS:
Message Settings>server profile
Select any profile
Activate profile
then Edit Profile
Rename Profile> whatever you want, i chose Rogers MMS
Homepage>http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Data Account> rogers
Connection Type > HTTP
Proxy address: 172.025.000.107 Proxy Port: 8080
Username: media
Password: mda01

Are they good for my area (montreal), because I entered them exactly has above and it really doesn't work...

    Hi there, I am with rogers canada (BARRIE ,ON)

    I just bought a Samsung Armani P520 from overseas and my internet does not work either. I cant download ringtunes from the text msgs.



    I also tried the setting changes above and no difference still cannot connect says service unavaible.



    PLEASE HELP!!!

10.Edit Username to wapuser1
11.Edit Password to wap
Select back or done
Select Activate Account


MMS

Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
Select Server Profile
Select the first entry
Select Edit Profile
Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
Edit Home Page to http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 172.025.000.107 and the port is 80
Edit the Username to media.com
Edit the Password to mda01

Select Done or Save
Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.


Restart the phone.

What is the wap setup for Rogers in Canada? I can't get any internet service at all on my i9 i69 SciPhone. Rogers is unwilling to help even though when I bought the phone it said it was compatible. All...

I found this in the internet, why couldn't you do the same? No IPhone app. works with the Sciphone, sorry. Now try thiese settings: Setting's name: Rogers

Grps isint subscribed

You need to configure your phone settings manually. Chinamanuals has i9 manuals that include Rogers Canada settings. Check them.
